Roz Purcell has revealed her go-to product for brighter eyes which gets rid of dark circles.
No matter how many hours of sleep you get a night, you can still fall victim to dull bags under your eyes.
While these are perfectly normal, they can make us feel self-conscious and can be hard to cover up.
Influencer and author Roz has shared her favourite product for covering up dark circles and describes it as a saviour for helping to brighten up her skin.
The Tipperary native uses Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Away concealer, which you can pick up for the reasonable price of €30 in Arnotts.

She told RSVP Magazine: “I like a really bright concealer, almost whitish with a hint of cream. This gem conceals imperfections and brightens the skin.
“Application is a cinch as it has a buff on the end that hugs onto my skin. It really brightens up my eye area and conceals dark circles. I also apply down my nose, on my chin and T-zone.”
Roz also uses another of mega beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury’s products to prep her skin before makeup application, revealing that Hollywood Flawless Filter (€40, Brown Thomas) is a must-have in her makeup bag for glowing skin.
“My primer of choice blurs, smooths and illuminates my skin tone. It gives my face that gorgeous dewy lit-from-within glow that I just adore,” she said.
As this month’s Guest Beauty Editor for RSVP Magazine, Roz explained to us how her attitude towards beauty products have changed over the years and how she has found products and methods that work perfectly with her skin.
She said: “I adore makeup, it’s transformative and I think it’s a real confidence booster. When I put make-up on I feel like it’s a form of art. I find it relaxing and it allows me to be creative.
“My beauty philosophy is to enhance what you have rather than camouflage your face with too much make-up. I grew up in a very aesthetic world in my early 20s, particularly when I was representing Ireland at Miss Universe. When I look back on photos there was too much going on, and my mum was right: Less really is more!”
The former model is also passionate about animal rights and never uses any products that have been tested on animals, urging her fans and followers to follow suit.
“When it comes to cruelty-free make-up there’s so much choice out there, and the swap isn’t as hard as you may think,” she said.
“My advice would be to do it slowly, use up what you have and when you buy new choose a cruelty-free option.”
